Chief Executive Officer
Joy is the founding Chief Executive Officer of MACS, starting in January 1994. With over 30 years’ experience in aged care services she remains passionate about ensuring the delivery of high quality, culturally and linguistically sensitive care to the broader community she serves. She provides strategic support to MACS’ Board of Directors regarding future service delivery and business opportunities. Joy holds a Bachelor of Health Administration and a Master of Business Administration.
Deputy Chief Executive Officer
Alwin moved to MACS in 2005 from a public hospital background. Passionate about aged care, the move to MACS was a natural fit. As Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Alwin places great importance on the values of respect, compassion and accountability. He contributes to strategic growth of residential services and infrastructure. Alwin is a registered nurse and holds a Bachelor of Health Administration and a Master of Business Administration.
Chris has been with MACS since 2007. He has a broad range of experience having worked in profit and not-for-profit businesses, health, manufacturing, banking and professional office management. Chris is a qualified Certified Practising Accountant and Company Secretary, holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Commercial Law. He guides the organisation’s corporate governance by being an active member and duly qualified Associate of the Governance Institute of Australia.
Director of Care
Luba is a Registered Nurse Division 1 and has over 25 years’ experience in the aged care and rehabilitation setting. She believes strongly in the Person Centred Care philosophy and actively advocates choice and transparency within our residential setting. She has optimised the skills, personalities and uniqueness of MACS’ diverse workforce to help achieve this. Luba holds a Bachelor of Science – Nursing and a Master of Business Administration.
