Current vacancy

Wellbeing Liaison Officer (WLO) -Full time position

The WLO works within their designated scope of practice as a direct care team member, being responsible to the Director of Care. The WLO welcomes new residents and respite residents as well as providing support to the care team with documentation and designated clinical and administrative duties. They maintain ongoing contact with residents and their families to ensure that their needs, goals and preferences are met. The WLO is responsible for co-ordinating the Wellbeing Team to ensure resident individual choices are met in regards to their Wellbeing and lifestyle. All duties involve communication with direct care staff, carers and staff from other MACS’ departments and, as appropriate, family members and other health professionals.
