COVID-19 UPDATE 13 JANUARY 2022
Current cases in Greater Geelong & Surfcoast as at 12/01-2,261
Our possible positive staff RAT test has been investigated and deemed to be a false positive with two further RAT tests undertaken overnight and both returning negative results.
This has allowed us this morning to test that all residents in Gerda’s and Borrela House who have all returned a negative RAT test result. This means that they are able to move freely around their houses and enjoy lunch today in the dining room.
The four COVID positive residents in Mary Costa House were tested yesterday and returned positive results so the isolation status remains in Mary Costa House. They will be retested tomorrow and remain relatively well.
This will be our communication for the day. Tomorrow’s communication will focus on the easing of visiting restrictions and implementation of pod visits and how this will work.
Please continue to monitor your emails and this site for further updates.
